PREVAIL Meetings

Starting in 2022, The Steering Group of the PostdocNet initiated a new monthly discussion series, Postdoctoral Researchers Voluntarily Advancing and Inspiring Leadership, or PREVAIL. These meetings will be held to promote discussion about certain topics of utmost importance and to disseminate this information to the PostdocNet community.

At these meetings, we have a discussion centered around a certain topic for the first 45 minutes, and then we hold an open floor for anyone who wants to bring up other issues. These could be issues that you want the Steering Group to help resolve, or topics on which you would like to hear others’ perspectives. Past topics have included the E13.3 contract situation, the WIssZeitVG, German residency, and parental leave. We encourage you to come and participate in the discussion, ask questions, and become more informed about these topics.
