How to Get Involved
Want to get more involved with PostdocNet? Great! There are lots of ways to help out.
First, if your institute does not have an External Postdoc Representative, you can help to hold an election, or even run for the position yourself. Representatives have a few set duties (see here), but for the most part, the role is flexible, and you can put in as much or as little as you’d like. If you’re not sure if your institute has a representative, you can reach out to your section rep, or to the Steering Group directly. For instructions on how to run an election at your institute, see here, and contact the General Secretary for access to our election package.
We are also always looking for new Working Group members. Our Working Groups cover a wide range of topics, so that postdocs can choose which topics are of most interest to them personally, and contribute to these directly. You do not have to have previous experience to join a Working Group - a desire to help out is all that is required! To join, please contact the group(s) you are interested in joining directly.
We look forward to working with you!
